This program seeks to assist GPs working
with people who have developmental
disabilities. Over 2% of Australians have a
developmental disability (which includes
intellectual disability, cerebral palsy and
autism disorders) and General Practitioners
are the usual providers of healthcare to
this population.

(these include the Carer Allowance,

work can receive assistance through the
Centrelink disability offices.
